dsh-greet-plugin

A minimal greet tool plugin for DeepSeek Harness (dsh).

Adds a greet tool the agent can call with a name; the greeting text is configurable.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:<you>/dsh-greet-plugin#v0.1.0

The bundle ships prebuilt artifacts (lib/) in the repository, so installation runs no build scripts and needs no allowBuilds entry.

Requires: Node.js ^22.19 || >=24, dsh.

What it adds

  • greet tool — greets someone by name (name: string), returns <greeting>, <name>!.

Configuration

Defaults live in cordis.patch.yml (greeting: 'Hello'). Override in your profile's own patch layer:

- id: greet-plugin
  name: dsh-greet-plugin
  config:
    greeting: '你好'

Restart dsh after install or config changes (plugin registration happens at boot).

Verify

Ask the agent: Use the greet tool to greet Ada. → expect Hello, Ada! (or your configured greeting).

Development

pnpm install
pnpm check # typecheck + build
pnpm dsh --profile web --dump-config # inspect the mounted layer
